Mets markets Zack Scott as appearing supervisor

NEW YORK (AP) – Zack Scott was promoted to appearing head of New York Mets on Wednesday, eight days after GM Jared Porter was fired.

Scott was employed as Assistant GM on December 23 after 17 seasons with Boston Crimson Sox, the final two as assistant GM.
